"Built Aound You" isn't just a new slogan for Volvo, it's a new way of approaching the design of their vehicles. This bold new tag line has made its way into the Swedish automaker's showing at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the unveiling of the company's new concept, the Volvo Concept You.

Yes, we here at Freedom Volvo are pleased to announce that Volvo has opted to name their latest concept model after you, in order to show how dedicated they are to meeting the needs of drivers around the world.

The first thing that we should note is that the Volvo Concept You picks up right where the Volvo Concept Universe left off. Peter Horbury, VP Design, Volvo shares, "The [Volvo] Concept You explores new territories in our search for the ultimate intuitive car that makes the owner's manual a thing of the past. Smart phones and smart pads have brought mobile infotainment into a new era. Here, we use a number of touch-screens to replace buttons and controls in order to make the driver totally connected, totally in control..."¹.

Horury continued to explain that the vehicle's interior is uncluttered thanks to the addition of smart pad technology, while the exterior reflects the sleek technological innovations perfectly. We should note, however, that the Volvo Concept You isn't all looks. Rather, it features every safety feature and innovation that Volvo has made over the years and then some. Specifically, it also features touch control center, "Fresh Air" subwoofer, transitional interior color scheme, chrome-free leather and Dinamica ecological suede appointments.
